Freshly minted on Vodafone UK’s website is a listing for the Samsung Galaxy S, billed as ‘coming soon.’
Packing a generous 4-inch Super AMOLED display, the Galaxy S runs Samsung’s own snazzy TouchWiz 3.0 interface on top of the Android 2.1 platform.
The rest of the specs aren’t too shabby either, with the 122.4 x 64.2 x 9.9 mm handset packing a 5-megapixel camera with geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection, built-in compass and accelerometer.

There’s 8 GB/16GB built in storage backed by a microSD slot supporting cards up to 32GB, plus Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP, Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n), stereo FM radio with RDS, with that beefy 480 x 800 pixels screen supporting multi-touch.

Vodafone are flagging up the Galaxy S as being available for monthly contracts on their coming soon page, although there’s no date specified yet.
