Just arrived on Amazon is Acer’s new Aspire ICONIA TAB A100 7 inch tablet, a fully spec’d dual core Android 3.0 Wi-Fi only tablet retailing for a very reasonable £299.
Dual core goodness
Set to be released on April 20, the Acer packs a dual-core processor NVIDIA Tegra 2 backed by a rear facing 5MP camera and front facing 2MP camera for video chats.
There’s just 8GB of internal storage plus 512MB of RAM onboard, but the memory card slot lets users lob up to another 32GB.
The 7″ capacitive touchscreen offers a modest 1024 x 600 pixels resolution, with connectivity options including HDMI port, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0.
Coming in Wi-Fi and 3G versions, the Acer Iconia Tab A-100 measures up at 195 x 117 x 13.1 mm with battery life rated at 5 hours of video playback.
