In a considerable labour of love, artist Anders Ramsell has animated several memorable scenes from the cult sci-fi movie Blade Runner by painting 12,597 different water colour paintings and turning them into a stunning movie sequence.
Overlaid with real dialogue from the film, the fluid art is quite amazing to watch and adds a whole new dimension to the film.
Consisting of 12,597 handmade aquarelle paintings, each painting is approximately 1,5 x 3cm in size, with the whole film lasting 35 minutes.
As a whole, the movie forms a mesmerising wash of movement. We love it!
