Described as “stylishly mobile for work and play,” ASUS’s new MeMO Pad Smart 10 is hoping to barge a space in an already crowded market for Android 10” tablets.
Set to be available in white, boysy blue and girly pink, the MeMO Pad Smart 10 comes with SonicMaster audio technology, which Asus insist will produce an “awesome” sound .
The aforementioned awesomeness can be heard via stereo speakers on the back of the tablet.
The tablet comes with a suite of Asus’s own software in the shape of ASUS SuperNote, ASUS WebStorage and ASUS@Vibe apps, while inside throbs a NVIDIA Tegra 3 CPU backed by 16GB of internal storage, with a microSD card slot allowing extra storage options.
The 10.1 inch IPS displays has a resolution of 1280 x 800 and offers a 178 degree viewing angle.
The MeMo comes with twin cameras – a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera with auto-focus and 1.2 front facing number – with the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean-powered tablet promising a battery life of up to 8.5 hours.
The MeMo Pad Smart 10 is already available in Europe and other territories, and is expected to cost around $299 when it launches in the US.
