It’s one of the tablets we’re looking forward to the most, and with the release date looming, a lengthy video of the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity tablet-cum-laptop has been ‘leaked.’
The lengthy eight minute video features Asus bods talking through some of the design and production processes involved in the new device, and it’s all moderately entertaining.
The high-end tablet – which uniquely combines a detachable keyboard with an ultra thin tablet – is set to hit the States during the week of July 16 with a starting price of $499 for the 32GB model and $599 for the 64GB number.
The machine serves up a 10.1-inch IPS display with resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, 1GB of DDR3 RAM, 32GB/64GB of internal storage with 8GB of free lifetime cloud storage plus an 8-megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front-facing cam.
Powered by a beefy NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor, the Transformer Pad Infinity TF700 measures up at a lithe 0.33-inches thick and weighs just 1.31 pounds, and offers a long battery life.
