More desirable than a tray of clotted cream jammy scones and lashings of Earl Grey tea is the Android-powered HTC Desire handset which is being offered by Orange UK in an alluring black finish.
Well, we say, “being offered,” but the first batch has been snapped up super speedily, with Orange not able to say when new stocks will arrive.
Rave reviews
The Desire has picked up rave reviews and has been wowing punters with its 3.7 inch AMOLED touch screen and innovative HTC Sense interface, all zipping along sweetly on a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
It’s a hot handset, alright
Orange currently list the phone as being available “from free” but with no availability date listed, you’ll have to ask them to email you when fresh stocks rock into town – but be quick though, as we think this phone is going to be a real hot potato.
