We posted up a wobbly video of BlackBerry’s forthcoming Bold 9800 slider a few weeks ago, and the handset from RIM is now (literally) becoming a bit clearer, thanks to a set of leaked photos.
The selection of crisp new images come courtesy of theberryfix website, and show off the updated BlackBerry 6 OS looking rather dandy.
The Palm Pre-like form factor and slide out keyboard is present and correct, and there’s also a new virtual QWERTY keypad for knocking out quick bits of text (the lack of an onscreen keyboard for the Pre quickly gets irritating when you just want to bash out a short text).
Cover Flow
There’s also a Cover Flow-esque media player interface to add more credibility to the Blackberry’s credentials as a groovy kind of multimedia handset, and the new WebKit browser promises to make the lives of web-surfin’ Blackberry fiends a whole lot better.
No UK release date yet
There’s no news on a UK release yet, but scroll down for a few more snaps – and click on the theberryfix link for a few more.
