The default battery charge indicator on Android phones is bit of a clunky affair, giving only the roughest of ideas of how much precious juice you’ve got left.
If you’d like a bit more detail, ChargeBar is a great alternative, offering a far more precise graphic representation off remaining battery life.
The free app puts a neat thin line right across the top of your menu bar, giving you a much more accurate representation of your battery’s charge: the further it extends, the more battery you have.
There are options to display the line at the top or bottom of the screen, and the ability to change its colour, thickness and include animations.
It’s also possible to have the bar start-up when the device has finished booting and it’s automatically hidden in full screen applications.
The Android app is completely free, and we think it’s well worth the download.
Would love to know what widget/app you’re running on that first screenshot! Does it display recently played music, and for which music app? Thanks!
