Dell has created some shelf space for their new Inspiron M101z netbook, an ‘ultra-thin and ultra-portable’ machine which is now available on their UK online store.
Packing an AMD Athlon II Neo processor, 11.6″ WLED (1366 x 768) HD TFT display and integrated ATI graphics, the new Inspiron apparently, “‘leaves comparably-sized netbooks in the dust,” according to the ever modest folks at Dell.
The M101z starts at £379, and for that you’ll get for an AMD Athlon II Neo K125 (Single Core) processor, AMD integrated ATI RS880M graphics, 2GB RAM and 250GB HD running on Windows 7 Home Premium, 64bit.
Make it yours
There’s plenty of customisation options available, with the more well heeled able to bag a version with AMD Athlon II Neo K325 (Dual Core) processor, AMD integrated ATI RS880M graphics, 320GB drive and 4GB RAM for £499.
It’s a brainy beauty. Apparently.
A clearly chuffed Dell let the love flow in their press release:
Blending brains and beauty, the Inspiron M101z laptop is built around a clever hinge-forward design that moves the display closer and keeps the body rigid for improved strength and durability.
It features a full-width, ergonomic keyboard that simplifies typing and navigation, while the attractive brushed finishes and smooth curves make it stand out in a crowd.
Vibrancy ahoy
The Inspiron is available in four “vibrant” colours, and can be purchased online at Dell’s store.
