Soon to be rolling out to the company’s ten zillion users is the latest Windows desktop iteration of the popular note taking software, Evernote 5.
The company have released a suitably enthusiastic video trailer (below) talking about the “coming soon” update and praising its ‘modern, flat design.’
Like every other company’s update ever released, the 50MB download promises to be “all-new, faster, smarter, more powerful than before,” with a chummy duo at the end insisting that “we’ll feel right at home using it.”
Here’s the stand out new features:

- Shortcuts give you quicker access to everything.
- Collaboration is easier with better sharing.
- Smarter search with TypeAhead suggestions and filters
