It’s been available on the iPhone and BlackBerry for some time, but a fully fledged version of the note taking app Evernote is landing in the Android Marketplace today.
Evernote says the development of the free app took months to complete, and users will now be able to create text notes, take photos and record audio on the move – and then sync it to their online account.
Users of the freebie service can only add PDF, text, audio or image files, whereas premium subscribers shelling out over $5 per month (or $45 per year) can attach any file they like, so long as the total note size remains under 25MB.
The app can also capture a user’s location whenever they create a note, letting them find related notes based on their current location.
