Mozilla has launched the final version of Firefox 4 for Android and is promising high speed downloading jinx for all.
Declaring themselves ‘excited’ by the launch, Mozilla say that their mobile browser delivers , “seamless and secure access to personal data across desktop and mobile devices, including browsing history, bookmarks, open tabs, form data and passwords.”
Claiming to be up to three times faster than the stock Android browser, the Firefox browser also “offers thousands of ways to customize the features, functionality and look of mobile Web browsing with Firefox Add-ons.”
The browser can be downloaded from the Android market.
It’s a hefty beast at 14MB mind, but thankfully it can be moved to the SD card, with the app leaving very small footprint of just 164k on the phone’s internal memory.
