Google UK has posted up a pre-order page for its competitively priced new 7-inch Nexus 7 tablet, with shipping promised for “2-3 weeks.”
There’s two versions of the tablet available, the 8GB Nexus being just £159, while the larger capacity 16GB model sells for £199.
With a quad-core processor and up to 8 hours of battery life, these prices are nothing short of sensational, with many suspecting that Google is selling them at cost price to ensure widespread adoption.
To sweeten the pill further, Google is also lobbing in £15 of credit to spend in the Play store, and some ‘great free content.’
The tablets can be pre-ordered from Google’s Play store right now. We think they’re going to be huge.
