According to the Washington Post, Google is set to launch a music service, possibly called Google Audio.
Citing unnamed ‘multiple sources,’ the newspaper says that Google has spent several weeks securing content for the launch of the service from major music labels.
Actual details are harder to find than Billy McFoggy wearing a misty jacket in a London pea-souper at night, but it seems that the service will probably be for US users, and involve downloading files or a Spotify-styled streaming service. Or maybe both. Or perhaps neither.
Hopefully, we’ll have some firmer details soon because, frankly, we’d agree that this isn’t much of a story right now.
But we hope that you like our graphic.
