You have to give credit to HTC: when it come to getting their teeth stuck into a new launch, they don’t mess about.
Today, the Taiwanese company unleashed no less than five spanking new handsets for Microsoft’s new Windows Phone 7 platform, with all but the HTC 7 Surround heading to Europe.
HTC HD 7
The biggest and most impressive of the new WM7 handsets is this 4.3” LCD bad boy, with a strong focus on gaming and multimedia.
Sporting a natty kickstand for watching movies, there’s Dolby Mobile and SRS surround sound onboard plus a 5MP camera and 720p HD video recording.
The quad band handset packs n-Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, motion, proximity and light sensors, a 3.5mm jack and 1230mAh battery.

Set to be on an exclusive deal with Orange in the UK, the HTC 7 Mozart looks well lush with its unibody, anodised aluminium stylish body, surrounding a 3.7” screen.
With looks reminiscent of the HTC Legend, the handset comes with an impressive 8-megapixel camera, xenon flash and 720p HD video recording.
Stuffed with the same set of connections, sensors and sound options as the HTC HD7, the Mozart has a slightly bigger 1300mAh battery.

Hoping to attract the well stuffed pockets of business users is the HTC 7 Pro, packing a 3.6″ 480 x 800 pixels screen, surround sound features and slide/tilt-out QWERTY keyboard for thumping out emails on the move.
Offering 1.8Mbps uploads and 3.1Mbps downloads with tight Outlook and Office integration, this looks to be a stylish number for suits on the move, and there’s also a decent 1500mAh battery to keep the swivel action stuff going all day long.

Hurtling towards Vodafone at a rate of knots is the HTC 7 Trophy, a neat all-rounder similar to the package offered by the Android HTC Desire handset.
