Joby has unveiled a new addition to their successful range of Gorillapod flexible camera tripods, the Gorillapod Magnetic.
As the name suggests, the new Gorillapod Magnetic cunningly expands on the successful design of the original by adding magnets to the feet of the bendy, flexible tripod legs.
Imploring you to put your trust in the powers of magnetism, the Gorillapod Magnetic anchors to any magnetic surface with Joby claiming that the tripod can support digital cameras and camcorders weighing up to 11.5 ounces.
If you’re not convinced by the magnetic possibilities of that rusty bar, there is of course, the option to also use the bendy legs to add extra stability.
The Gorillapod Magnetic weighs 2.5 ounces, is 6-inches tall, and will be available globally in April. No pricing details yet.
