LG has announced that its LG Optimus Black Android-powered handset is charging into Europe later this month.
A super slender little number running Android 2.2 (Froyo), the Optimus Black may not pack a trendy dual core processor (it makes do with a TI OMAP3 1 Ghz CPU), but the rest of the specs put up a decent fight.
Measuring just 0.36″ and weighing 3.84 ounces, the phone is dominating by a large and bright 4 inch NOVA display, the Optimus Black also comes with 5MP rear facing and 2MP forward facing cameras, backed by 2GB of internal memory and a microSD slot capable of supporting cards up to 32GB.

The phone will be available globally across six continents beginning in Europe before heading to North America and Asia.
