Apple’s shiny, cash-scooping prestigious Regent Store in London didn’t escape the attention of rampaging protesters at Saturday’s huge March for the Alternative demo on Saturday.
Although protesters didn’t manage to liberate any iPad2s, fawning fanboys dutifully queuing for Apple’s latest high-end offering were said to scatter in fear when the paint bombs headed in their direction.
The store closed temporarily, leaving the blue shirted workers inside only able to high five, whoop and congratulate each other on their impeccable taste.
With security guards blocking the shop entrance, customers desperate for their latest iFix were forced to jostle impatiently outside, and perhaps – for a moment – consider joining the protest against the biggest cuts to public services in the UK for decades instead.
