Anxious HTC Desire users on the Orange network waiting to see when they can get grab a slice of the Froyo action should be relieved to hear that the network has announced that the update in the next four weeks.
The Android 2.2 Froyo update has been rolling out to unlocked HTC Desire smartphones across the UK and Europe since the weekend, but for users on handsets locked to network operators are being forced to wait longer.
This is so the networks can slap their branding all over the phone and shunt on a load of generally useless branded apps.

Betworks can sometimes take an eternity to release Android updates, but according to a Tweet posted by the beardy Conor Maples from Orange, Orange customers should be soaking up the Froyo goodness in around four weeks. Huzzah!
