The Orange San Francisco handset was already incredible value for money at under a hundred quid, but Argos has sweetened the deal further with a ten per cent price reduction, thumping the price down to just £89.99.
Cheap and very cheerful
The fully featured Android smartphone has long been one of our budget faves, serving up a generous 800 x 480 pixels screen, backed by a 3MP camera, modest-but-capable 600MHz processor and WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and GPS onboard, along with 3G+ and an FM radio.
Storage comes in at a modest 150MB of internal memory, but for your ninety quid you’ll get a 2GB microSD card lobbed in for free, with the option to expand up to 32GB.
Argos are now offering the Orange San Francisco in grey and white, with users having to shell out for a £10 credit to get started, but a free £10 airtime voucher is applied once the phone is activated.
The deal is apparently only available in stores, and we can’t recommend it highly enough for anyone on a tight budget.
