Samsung has thrown down the follow-up to its popular 7-inch Galaxy Tab, unsurprisingly named the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0).
The seven incher comes with both 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), and packs a 1GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM.
There’s a 3MP camera on the rear and a VGA front facing number for video chats.
Samsung will be bolting on its TouchWiz UI, and the tablet will come with a full suite of Hub services onboard, including the Music Hub app, offering access to over 17 million tracks.
There’s also a Readers Hub for e-books and a Video Hub serving up over a 1,000 films for rent or buying.
Samsung is also including their new AllShare Play service which lets users stream multimedia content to the tablet from their PCs, Samsung smartphones, or third-party cloud drives.
Available with up to 32GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 is set to frolic into the UK like a spring lamb next month, with the all important pricing yet to be revealed.
