Expected to go in sale in the UK in early September 2014 is Samsung’s luscious new Galaxy Alpha handset, which heralds in a new line of metal framed smartphones.
Previously, Samsung just loved that plastic look, but now they’re all over metal, courtesy of their “new design approach.”
The specs look pretty good too: 4.7″ 720p Super AMOLED display (1,280 x 720-pixels), octa-core processor (4X 1.8GHz cores, 4X 1.3GHz cores) backed by 2GB RAM and that nifty power saving mode.
There’s a 12-megapixel rear camera capable of shooting 4K video, complete with loads of custom shooting functions.
Other specifications include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC, and a front-facing 2.1-megapixel camera, with the phone running the latest Android 4.4.4 KitKat software.
