Sony continues to cascade Cyber-shot cameras on to consumers, and ready to join the queue of mid-range priced cameras hoping to get wallets a-twitching is the new Cyber-shot DSC-HX7V.
Exmor R onboard
Stuffed full with no less than 16.2 megapixels of Exmor R CMOS image sensor goodness, the camera comes with Optical SteadyShot image stabilisation, and can snap 3D still images.
Video skillz comes in the shape of built-in support for HD 1080/60i AVCHD video recording.
The camera with a memory
An integrated GPS receiver and compass ensures that you won’t forget where those drunken holidays snap were taken, or where you were facing at the time.
Sony has also included loads of their bespoke techie-widgets, like Backlight Correction HDR technology, Background Defocus, HDMI output, TransferJet Technology and many more delights.
Available for pre-order in a range of purdy-as-a-picture colours like blue, white, black and pink, the Cyber-shot DSC-HX7V snappers should knock out for around $300 and be available in the UK from mid March .
