Seemingly leaked ahead of its official CES show announcement are details on the new Sony Ericsson smartphone, which looks to be their previously codenamed ‘Anzu’ handset.
Not exactly a looker
We’re not exactly blown away by its looks – in fact, we’re having trouble remember the last Sony Ericsson design we actually liked – but the specs look bright enough.
According to Russian site Gagadget, the handset will be called the Xperia Arc and come with a 1GHz Qualcomm processor (single-core, apparently) and a 4.2-inch 854 x 480 display.
The phone is set to run Android Gingerbread, and pack a 8 megapixel back-illuminated Sony sensor with HD video capture, and a wafer thin body that measures just 8.7mm at the thinnest point.
Sony’s CES press conference is coming up later today, so hopefully all will be confirmed soon.
