Sony have served up more details about their new Sony Ericsson Xperia arc handset, and released two more promo videos to show off the shiny little fella.
Android 2.3 onboard
The full specification list sees the arc running Android 2.3 and strutting a 1 GHz Qualcomm CPU, 512 MB of memory and a 4.2-inch multi-touch display (labelled the ‘Reality Display’) which supports a 854 x 480-pixels resolution.
There’s a 8.1-megapixel camera offering HD video (720p) recording capability at the back, with the slim, curved body measuring a lithe 8.7mm thick at its thinnest part and weighing 117 grams.
Top notch camera
Being a Sony Ericsson, you know the camera’s going to be a good ‘un, and the arc offers auto focus, face detection, LED flash, image stabilisation, geo tagging, and noise suppression, backed by Sony’s Exmor R technology for delivering good shots in low light.
Connectivity options include HDMI, USB, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, there’s aGPS and DLNA onboard with a microSD slot allowing up to 32 GB expansion (a 8 GB microSD card is bundled with the phone).
Sony Ericsson Xperia arc will be released to selected markets, including Japan, from Q1 2011.
