Protected by laser firing Android robots and shards of flesh ripping code, regular folks have usually got as much chance of getting inside a Google data centre as they have of finding a shred of humanity in the Tory party.
However, Google has now flung open its virtual doors and let the great unwashed take a poke around their Lenoir, NC data centre with a behind-the-scenes video and the chance to strut past the lines of servers in a Google Maps street view trip.
