UK network Three have launched a new pay as you go (PAYG) deal which lets customers gorge themselves on unlimited data for 30 days for a wallet-punishing £15.
Three say the unlimited data deal means users won’t get all stressed out with worrying about how much data they’ve used up (although some may get stressed wondering where they’ll find the £15 a month).
Here’s their announcement:
All-you-can-eat data is now onPay As You Go.
For £15 you get 300 minutes and 3000 texts and now All-you-can-eat data. With Three’s Pay As You Go you can download that app, browse the web, look at a map, send an email, the list is endless and so are the number of times you can do it.
Use yer phone like you oughta
Three’s Sales and Marketing Director, Marc Allera said, “We want to get people using their smartphones in the way they were designed to be used, and that means data.”
(We reckon that’s a little dig at T-Mobile who recently mightily miffed a ton of their customers when they insisted that videos ought to be watched at home using Wi-Fi instead of on their smartphones.)
Allera continued to big up the deal:
More importantly, we want people to feel comfortable doing this without worrying about the cost. That’s why the new offers include all-you-can-eat data along with a huge allowance of minutes and texts.
Three’s network was built for data, and it’s the confidence in the strength of our 3G network that means we can introduce deals like this.
Is it right for you?
Although truly unlimited data for £15 a month represents a pretty good deal, unless you’re a ten-ton heavyweight data fiend, we’d suggest you take a look at some of the cheaper 1GB deals which may prove better value.
