We’ve found ourselves whiling away long hours at this fabulously addictive website which invites you to look at a scene from around the world and guess where the chuffing heck it is.
The site is based on Google Street View imagery, and serves up five different scenes for each game.
Just like the usual Street View app, you can scroll around the scene and zoom in for clues, although we reckon it’s more fun when you just take a quick guess on details like the general architecture and topography.
When you think you know where the scene is, click on the map in the top right of the screen and it will tell you how close – or embarrassingly far – your deductive powers were.
The map then shows you how many miles your guess was from the actual location, with more points awarded for the closest guesses.
If you manage to get a string of high-scoring correct answers (we didn’t!), the site invites you to brag about it over social media.
The work of a talented Anton Wallén, this slickly produced game can keep you occupied for hours. We love it!
